Iquitos to Manaus by yourself

I hope to help some backpackers with this text, because there is anything in the net about this trip, and also the fiability its low.
First thing to say is, of course, everything im gonna write here can change at last moment because its on the jungle and you never know whats gonna happen next minute, but i will try to specify as much as possible to help more.
Anyway, when you will arrive to Iquitos, you will feel like anyone knows anything for sure or everyone will tell something but nothing for sure, neither the agencies. There are two options to arrive to Santa Rosa, the border between Peru and Brazil; first one is to take an slow boat starting at 18h everyday from Huequitos Port of passangers in Iquitos, this is the real experience of Amazon boats, because in Brazil they are much better, and at that one you will put your net in between the pigs, cows, and any other "baggage" of the locals, it is 150 soles in double room or 120 soles in your net at the boat, it is 4 days to arrive and you must be prepared to a lot of disgusting smelt, and not so nice but real Amazon experience as far i know, because i took option two, because i was in a hurry. Option two, is to have a fast boat from the same port and they start everyday unless Monday at 6h, the agencies will tell you like they dont know if its gonna start or not, but the point is to go there at 5.30h and im quite sure it will be one, at least the only one should leave!!It is 60US$ and it takes 9 to 10 hours.
When you arrive to Santa Rosa, you do all your inmigration papers, and soon goes to Brazil, you have 24h to do the papers of Brazil, and remember they close at 18h at both parts. Arriving to Tabatinga port, the boats starts normally in low season, only Tuesday and Saturday, but they can change easily. If the day you arrive there is a boat leaving soon, you can speak with captain to be there until they go with no more charge of price, and then you save the money of a hostel in the terrible Tabatinga, from it you can easily go to Leticia (Colombia) just to have fun or drink beers. The boats are so many differents, the one i had it was the best one nowadays at this area, as they told, and it was quite clean, and nice, it is 150R$ to have your net there with food and everything, or 400R$ each one in a double room, in november it takes 4 days to Manaus, at the worst seasons it takes 6, they are, January to March because mosquitos and low waters, and June to August because rains. If anyone needs my boat was Sagrado Coração de Jesus, and to contact them to know in advance where it is or to book are, (92)32348402, (92)99858412 y (92)91221692, this boat stops in some towns at the river, they are... Fonte Boa, Jutaí, Tonantins, Santo Antonio do Iça, Amaturá, Sao Paulo de Olivença y Benjamín Constant.
Thats all, i hope it helps someone and of course its strongly recommended to do it, its an amazing experience!!!
